Brandix Fast Fashion

The field visit to Brandix Fast Fashion, which included Welisara and Mirigama 1 Plant, provided a thorough overview of the operational dynamics of the apparel industry. Under the direction of Dr. Niluka Rodrigo and Prof. Wasantha Daudasekara, the visit offered useful insights for the third-year project of the Operations Research Society at the University of Peradeniya.  Participants were able to learn about fast fashion processes directly by visiting manufacturing facilities and interacting with industry professionals at Brandix. The event, emphasizing networking and experiential learning, contributed to a deeper understanding of industry expectations and project management essentials. .
