SOR Degree

Statistics and Operations Research is a four-year degree programme conducted by the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya. University of Peradeniya to cater for the needs of the industrial sector. In 2005, under the guidance and instructions of the University Grant Commission (UGC), Prof. W. B. Daundasekara commenced the Statistics and Operations Research Degree Program. The core subject areas of this degree program are operations research, statistics, computer science, and mathematics. The aim is to provide an intellectually challenging undergraduate study in the theory and practice of statistical science operations research.
